Massolit, website in Episerver

Massolit Förlag är ett bokförlag med utgivning inom skönlitteratur och facklitteratur. Massolit bad oss bygga en webbplats i Episerver som bidrar till att minska tidsåtgången för administrativa arbetsuppgifter. 

Tidigare bistod man återförsäljare med bildmaterial, texter, annonsunderlag och annat säljstödmaterial på ad hoc-basis. Tanken var nu att skapa en plattform i Episerver där press och övrig media kan ladda ner bild- och textmaterial från de olika utgivningarna.

Features and solutions

The previous search function did not work optimally and needed a new structure and functionality. There was also a need for a smooth process to order review copies of books, which had previously been a cumbersome and awkward process. We created a shopping cart for ordering review copies, which has greatly simplified things for the publisher, journalists and retailers.

Concept and solution

We wanted to create a new and different design approach to make Massolit stand out from the crowd — so we developed a design that gave equal focus to the author and the book, with large, scalable images featuring portraits and book covers. We also created a dynamic feed of current books with a short description.

The website now has a clean, easy navigation with a strong focus on imagery. The new design has significantly simplified the ordering of review copies.
