Client case
UX and design K-rauta e-commerce
K-rauta put out a pitch to select a digital agency. We developed a concept and a style that was exactly what K-rauta wanted and we won the assignment. We launched the project, which included user experience (UX) and design for the e-commerce. The delivery consisted of a concept, wireframes for interaction design, responsive design sketches, an HTML prototype and a guideline for the web
The client wanted not only a great shopping experience but also to put K-rauta on the map as a digital innovator. They also planned to work extensively with content in the form of tips and guides on how people can plan, build and realise their dreams themselves. We were also required to consider K-rauta’s other countries and ensure the design works in Estonia, Latvia, Russia and Finland. We made sure to create dedicated areas that could have a unique look per country - because cultural differences can affect the user experience

Concept
The idea is that the content floats over different types of background images that set the mood and convey which section you are in. In large environmental images, products are shown in context, preferably from a team perspective, which in turn hopefully inspires the user.
Result
Following our engagement, K-rauta has a new technical platform and has undergone a branding process, giving it a new look.
