My Veterinarian - new website and visual identity in Umbraco

Evidensia is one of Europe's leading quality chains for animal healthcare and needed a website and visual identity for its new brand Min Veterinär.

With Min Veterinär, pet owners can easily and conveniently meet a veterinarian directly on their smartphone, tablet or computer. The service is a natural complement to the entire care chain that Evidensia offers.

Limetta was commissioned to review both UX, design and web development for Min Veterinär.se. The purpose of the website was to serve as an informational site and an entry point for the existing booking platform. We also developed the design for the brand's accompanying app.

The goal was to create a credible and professional design and user experience for a veterinary service that provides advice for animals. The website was to function as a simple information site and serve as an entry point to the existing booking platform. The assignment included developing a new graphic profile for the web that would convey the trust and expertise the brand stands for. A strong focus was also placed on highlighting the experienced and knowledgeable veterinarians and their passion for animals. Since Min Veterinär is part of Evidensia, it was important to emphasize that connection while maintaining a clear focus on the new brand’s own identity

When we create a visual identity, we develop a library of color codes, fonts, and designed components and modules. Here we chose a purple signature color associated with calm, trust and professionalism. We also developed an appropriate color palette and typography

For the website we made sure to create a logical content structure and clear contact paths so that it would be easy to navigate and simple for the user to find the right information. We also developed a design for an accompanying app where the user can easily and conveniently book a veterinary appointment directly on their mobile or tablet.

The website was developed in Umbraco - a powerful yet easy-to-work-with CMS that suited the needs perfectly. Today most people use their mobile when browsing. When we design we therefore take a mobile-first approach, that is a mobile interface where the design adapts responsively according to the screen size. Min Veterinär was no exception and we therefore built a responsive design to best adapt the content to users' needs. The result was a sleek and functional website that clearly explains the offering and clarifies contact paths for the existing booking platform.
