Pre-study and requirements specification

A pre-study is carried out to establish the prerequisites for an upcoming project. We look at the project's scope, the current situation, how the content can be structured and the mapping of needs. In a pre-study we research to gather facts and analyse to answer questions and clarify concepts. This is an important part of a digital strategy.

Visitor and website analysis

We always put the end user at the center of our analysis, because their experience is crucial to a project’s success. A poor user experience undermines every other business goal the project may have.

  • Overarching analysis - we review the client’s business, goals, target audiences, customer journeys, and competitors.
  • User experience analysis - we identify user needs and pain points, and explore user behavior through tools such as Google Analytics and Hotjar (which tracks how visitors navigate a website). When needed, we also conduct user tests to validate or challenge our assumptions.
  • Current state analysis – we review the existing solution to identify deficiencies or potential improvements, e.g. load times, SEO, and packaging of services.
  • Technical analysis - we identify the editors' needs, look at which integrations need to be made, map existing or new requests for technical features, and review security requirements, performance requirements and the handling of personal data.
